Goda Mačiulytė is a journalism student at the Vilnius University, first bachelor’s course.
Before studies Goda Mačiulytė was actively involved in her native city life. She was a volunteer at „Jonavos sporto savanoriai“ and a member of „Jonavos rajono savivaldybės moksleivių savivalda“ . She is well known at Jonava Senamiestis gymnasium because of her social activities and promotes the school by participating in the events like „Dainų šventė“.
All this active social life made Goda be around many different people, which was quite interesting for her and she realized that this is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. So, journalism is the perfect profession for Goda because it gives her the opportunity to meet new and unique people and get to know them.
Throughout high school years Goda Mačiulytė mastered how to communicate with people properly and be responsible for her actions. She is not afraid of work and how tough it can be. Goda Mačiulytė has qualities which are especially important for an aspiring journalist: she always has something to say and is not scared to speak out.
Goda Mačiulytė has visited ten different countries while only being 19, which could be considered as an interesting fact about her. She has been to Greece, Norway, Latvia, Poland, Iceland, Czech Republic, Austria and Sweden. Goda also was in Italy with her folk dance group and in Hungary with a youth exchange program.
